The Orchestra musicians and Lyon Opera Choir singers are gathered for a cycle of chamber music concerts. A perfect opportunity to discover pieces in a more intimate setting, in three places which represent the full range of Lyon’s artistic offer: the Musée Gadagne, the newly-reopened Salle Molière, and the Lyon Opera Amphi.
She is probably one the most acclaimed artists of our time: Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho moved to France in the 80s and set off on a quest for new sonorities, with inspirations from Frech composer Claude Debussy in terms of tones and textures, used by both composers in a most poetic, inspiring fashion. This concert is a most compelling dialogue between them.
