Alejandro Vargas began dancing in a small studio in his hometown of Rahway, New Jersey, then went on to study at the Union County Academy for Performing Arts and the renowned Juilliard School in New York, graduating in the spring of 2024. During this training, he took part in numerous intensive summer programs - notably at Nederlands Dans Theater and Ballet BC - and performed works by Ohad Naharin, Aszure Barton, Camille A. Brown, Tiler Peck and others. Brown, Tiler Peck and Rena Butler. He made his professional debut on Broadway in Justin Peck's Illinoise and joined the Lyon Opera Ballet in 2024.
