Gianmarco Romano trained at La Scala Academy in Milan, graduating in 2013. Immediately after his studies, he joined Munich's Bayerishes Staatsballet for four years, before moving on to the Finnish National Ballet and, in 2019, the Royal Swedish Ballet. Appointed soloist in 2022, he performs works by the greatest names in dance (George Balanchine, Rudolph Nureyev, Roland Petit, Serge Lifar, Mats Ek, Jiří Kylián). In 2024, he joined the Lyon Opera Ballet.
