Kazushi Ono was the principal conductor of the Lyon Opera Orchestra from 2008 to 2017. He is the music director of the Brussels Philarmonic and of the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, as well as artistic director of the New National Theatre, Tokyo, a major opera house in Asia. He is back to present a joyous three-piece selection: Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet, Ravel’s poetic orchestra work in the neoclassic piece Tombeau de Couperin, and Chausson’s lyrical, compelling masterpiece, Poème.
