Aquaserge have succeeded in inventing their own world and own musical codes, gathered from progressive and psychedelic rock, free jazz (and non-free jazz), old and new film tracks, and other forms of experimentation that cannot always be labelled.
Of course, Aquaserge do have their predecessors and enthusiasms, and even their aesthetic principles, but in principle no kind of monomania that can easily be diagnosed.
And, of course, this is what makes for their great strength. These young musicians from Toulouse, who have worked with Acid Mothers Temple, Stereolab and April March, are ready for anything, including setting up in the basement of the Opera to concoct a new opus with the Quatuor Wassily.
