Kristina Bentz, born in Palm Beach, Florida started dancing at the age of three at the Palm Beach Ballet Center. A Young Arts silver award winner, she then trained at the Juilliard School in New York, where she graduated with a BFA in dance with scholastic distinction in 2014. She immediately joined the Lyon Opera Ballet in 2014 upon graduation. Since joining the Lyon Opera Ballet, Kristina has had the pleasure to dance an abundant repertoire including works by William Forsythe, Mats Ek, Pina Bausch, Jiri Kylian, Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker, Roland Petit, Johan Inger, Maguy Marin and Merce Cunningham among others. An avid student, Kristina has also obtained a Business certificate from Colombia University as well as a degree in fashion marketing from Parsons University in New York City.
