Amanda Lana began ballet in her hometown of Belo Horizonte, Brazil. In 2013, she moved to Europe to continue her training at the Princess Grace Academy in Monte-Carlo. After graduating in 2016, she began her career at the Royal Swedish Ballet in Stockholm, where she performed works by Mats Ek, Alexander Ekman, Pär Isberg and William Forsythe. In 2018, she joined the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company, where she worked collaboratively with Jacopo Godani on repertoire and creations for five years. She joined the Lyon Opera Ballet in July 2023.
