Lyon’s Salle Molière isn’t the only venue in the city where you can hear piano music. As part of the new season, the Lyon Opera House is hosting two recitals, both for one night only.
Few pianists have the ability to switch from contemporary creation to the great repertoire, from chamber music to concertos, like François-Frédéric Guy. An interpreter of Beethoven and Tristan Murail who devours repertoire with enthusiastic ease, Guy's visit to Lyon is dedicated to Chopin and Beethoven. The Romantics are some of his favourites, and the Polish composer is particularly close to his heart.
